| Introduction |
| Fluorescent whitening agent VBL is a fluorescent whitening agent obtained by condensation of diaminobenzene disulfonic acid with melamine,monoethanolamine, etc. The appearance is a light yellow powder, belonging to the anionic type, with a color light of blue and slightly purple according to the Chemical Book. Soluble in soft water, with coagulation phenomenon at the beginning of dissolution. When diluted with water (80 times water) and thoroughly stirred, a transparent solution can be obtained. It is advisable to use slightly alkaline or neutral water for dissolution. |
