Introduction |
MethylParaben, Also known as methyl paraben or methylparaben, it is a commonly used preservative. It is a white crystalline powder or colorless crystal with a slight pungent odor, easily soluble in alcohols, ethers, and extremely slightly soluble in water. Its boiling point is between 270-280 ºC. MethylRaben is mainly used as a fungicide and preservative in organic synthesis, food, cosmetics, and medicine, and is also used as a feed preservative. Due to its phenolic hydroxyl structure, MethylRaben has stronger antibacterial properties than benzoic acid and sorbic acid.
