Glabridin is a cosmetic ingredient primarily derived from the stem of a specific variety of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. It is a fast, efficient, safe, and green whitening and spot removing cosmetic additive that can penetrate deep into the skin and maintain high activity, effectively inhibiting the activity of various enzymes in the process of melanin production, such as tyrosinase, as well as inhibiting the activity of dopa pigment interconversion and DHICA oxidase.

| Whitening effect: Glabridin can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, a key enzyme responsible for catalyzing the production of melanin.
