Introduction
Alpha-L-Rhamnose Monohydrate, also known as mannose methyl sugar, is a methyl pentose sugar with two isomers, L-type and D-type. In water, the [α] D16.5 of D-rhamnose is -8.25 °, and the [α] D15 of L-rhamnose is+9.1 °. L-rhamnose is a type of deoxyhexose sugar, namely 6-deoxy-Lmannose, which is a component of plant cell walls and various glycosides. Alpha form: colorless crystal. Crystallization from aqueous solution refers to crystals containing crystalline water. Melting point 105 ºC. Dissolve in water. There is optical activity and rotation phenomenon. The abundance of arabinose in marine plankton is generally greater than that of arabinose. It also exists in seawater, particulate matter, and sediment. It can exist in a free or bound form.
Function

Sweetener: L-rhamnose monohydrate has a sweetness of 33% of sucrose and can be used as a sweetener, especially in foods that require controlled sugar intake.
